site is the brain child of two illustrious sons of Awori land (KayodeOpeifa)
from Orile Agege and Lanre Fagbohun from Akesan )
dedicated to doing whatever it will take to ensure continuous unity
of Awori people and ensuring an enduring future for all Awori sons
and
daughters worldwide.
To
achieve this goal this site will appreciate the cooperation of all
Aworis
and Nigerian intellectuals, technocrats, historians, academic, archivist,
journalist, journalist, Royal fathers, traditional rulers, students
of history
and politics, politicians, traders, farmers among others who have
any
information relevant to Awori history, the place of Awori/Aworis
in the
political history of Nigeria, Yoruba land, Lagos state and Ogun
State.
We
will also appreciate historical information, news and event about
Awori towns in Lagos and Ogun states. Also of appreciation will
be facts
and efforts at identifying notable Awori sons and daughters any
where
they may be in the world.
The
picture page will be available free of charge for all those who
wish to
share information about themselves, town, club events etc with the
rest
of the world.
Aworis
and friends of Awori who have business to advertise are also
welcome. For now and for a long time to come it will be free.
