from Orile Agege and Lanre Fagbohun from Akesan ) dedicated to doing whatever
it takes to ensure continuous unity of Awori people and ensuring an enduring

Kayode Opeifa  
Currently based in
Chicago. Illinois, USA.
Before traveling to the

USA, he lectured Biochemistry at the
Lagos State University, Ojo (LASU)
where he was a member of the
University Senate ('92-97) and ASUU
Vice President. At the community level,
he was for several years member of the
National Executive Council of the
committee for the defense of human
rights in Nigeria (cdhr),
the leading
human rights and pro-democracy group
in the Campaign for Democracy (CD)
coalition. He was cdhr chairman for
Lagos State from (1992-1996). He hails
from Orile Agege and he is the son of
Chief S. A. Opeifa - The Asiwaju of
Aworiland. Kayode is the current vice
President of "THE LAGOSIANS", an
association of indigenes of Lagos State
in Chicagoland.

The Editorial board of Awori-KiTiGbe.Org congratulates the three accomplished Awori sons honored at the first Herbert Macauley award
for distinguished service to development of Lagos State and mankind. The award was under the auspices of Association of Lagos State Indigenes (ALSI).
We also acknowledged the efforts and foresights of Justice (rtd) Ishola Oluwa and other executives and trustees of the Herbert Macauley Memorial Award. We share in your dreams.

They are:
Chief J. Odeyale:
A former and first Awori Civil Service Commissioner in Lagos State and the father to Chief (Mrs.) Biola Babatope a member of the Federal House of Representative (1979-1983).
Chief S. A. Opeifa:
An accomplished entrepreneur and
National President of Awori Welfare Association of Nigeria. (AWAN), the umbrella organization for all Awori associations. He is the father to Kayode Opeifa, one of the web editors for Awori-KiTiGbe.Org.

And Chief Orelope

He practices Law in Lagos, Nigeria, and
teaches Environmental Law and
Commercial Law both at the Under-
graduate and Postgraduate Levels. He
has co-edited several books and has
over 38 articles published in learned
Journals within and outside Nigeria.
He currently serves as the Head of
Department of Environmental Education
and Allied Disciplines of the Centre for
Environment and Science Education,
LASU He is a member of the National
Work-Group for the streamlining of
Environmental Laws in Nigeria.
Lanre Fagbohun is from Akesan in the
Alimosho Local Government Area of
Lagos State and he his the son of the
present Oloja Elect of Akesanland.
